Each of our good friends have a fabulous rental property in Marbella Spain and a couple of years previously we went out to holiday with them for a full week.  We remember being really excited looking forward to visiting Lee as well as Laura the very first time. villas in Marbella are extremely sought after and it is not hard to see the reason why, since Marbella Spain is an excellent location to visit anytime of year.

They have already been leasing their villa out for roughly 5yrs now and make a very good return of investment.   Well, that besides my spouse and i showed up on the Friday afternoon at approximately two pm.  I knocked on the door and soon after a several of moments there seemed to be absolutely no response.  I knocked once again 3 times yet still there was clearly no response.  My wife and I made a decision to wander round the rear of the Marbella apartments and peered thru each of the ground floor windows to find out if these folks were indeed at home at all.  There was nothing, which appeared to be a complete mystery regarding their whereabouts.  I then attempted calling Lees mobile phone number and also let it ring for a positive 4 min’s, nevertheless absolutely no response.

While the property is fairly secluded and not having the number to ring for the police, there was only one factor left to undertake and that was to shatter a window making sure that we could gain entry in to the villa and also hopefully solve the issue regarding where exactly these folks were.  As soon as within we yelled their names and checked all the rooms inside the house, still to no avail.  They were simply nowhere to be found.  I then went back outside and examined the garage Laura’s car was not there either.  This left my wife and I no other choice but to drive in to the neighborhood cops station and then report this particular unusual incident, that we did entirely.

Thankfully for all the police officer talked perfect English and informed us don’t worry unnecessarily as there might be a perfectly harmless reason behind Lee and also Laura’s disappearance.  The police officer subsequently requested us to follow along with him back to the villa which in turn we did, and as quickly as I got out of the car my cellphone began ringing, I actually answered it immediately and to my amazement it was actually Lee asking where we had got to because he had been concerned that we were definitely late.  I simply didn?t know exactly what to state to him until it dawned upon me just what had happened.  Foolishly I had written down the wrong address and never realised it and this is exactly what just had triggered all of the anguish.

Everyone needed to make our abject apologies to each Lee and naturally towards the officer, this cost me in excess of one hundred euros to replace the window however the good thing about this story is the fact that everyone accepted everything in excellent humour, while I have not felt so dumb in all my entire life.  Marbella villas will remain in my imagination for just a long time. . !
